Rick Perry's stance for a smaller federal government

I found this article in the Dog Canyon called Texans Will Pay to Deny Healthcare to Millions of Texans interesting because this shows how more and more Texans are dependent on social programs. This is a liberal site, so of course it is biased. Making Rick Perry look like the bad guy. I don't necessarily like or dislike Rick Perry as a politician, but because he believes in individual independence. He is evil. What is wrong with being independent?   Dog Canyon mentions he only cares about politics and not people. In reality he is helping people because he is teaching responsibility. Individual liberty and freedom are the most important things we as Americans have. These are natural rights we have as humans. No matter the social class, sexual orientation, race or gender. According to this commentary 1 out of 4 Texans are uninsured. It’s an individual’s personal responsibility to obtain this insure not the government to provide or require individuals to have insurance. With all this being said. Rick Perry cannot back down in his beliefs.  As a governor he must stand firm on his political platform.
